SkinRoom Co., Ltd.

«Your own cosmetics brand in ninety days, from conversation to shelf»

About the company

SkinRoom Co., Ltd. is a full-cycle studio in Seoul, founded in 2020. Its founder brings more than twenty years in cosmetics manufacturing, and the whole model is built around that: the client does not need to understand the industry, because someone else will.

The company puts it plainly: "You don't need to be a beauty expert. You need a story. We turn it into a brand." Work begins not with a brief but with an interview — who you are, who you sell to, what you like yourself. The name, the logo, the packaging and the product are assembled from that.

Three blocks of work sit under one roof, and this is the real difference from an agency-plus-factory arrangement: identity, product development and go-to-market. Nothing is lost between them, because there is only one contractor.

The company has built twelve brands from zero and ships to more than ten markets across Asia, North America and Europe. Its own brand MAOOM was built by the company for itself and is kept as the flagship case — it is published on our platform as a separate page.

What the work includes

Brand and identity

Client interview and positioning, naming and brand story, logo and visual language, container selection and package design. The company stresses that this is built from who the client is and who they sell to, not from a template.

Product and formulation

Formulation with in-demand actives and textures, custom fragrance development, production handling and quality control. Among the actives the company names exosomes, NAD+ and freeze-dried components. Vegan, cruelty-free and dermatologist-tested options are available.

Launch and growth

Multilingual website and product detail pages, Instagram and advertising content, export and shipping documentation, marketing and sales support. The brand is not merely manufactured but brought to a state in which it can be sold.

Ninety days from interview to product

Four steps: interview, identity, formulation, production and launch. The client takes part at each one, and no brief is required from them — the company asks the questions.

Brands Built for Clients

Brands they have built

maoom — flagship case, the studio's own brand

The one brand in the portfolio the studio built for itself: concept and formulation, packaging, multilingual commerce and export. The bet was on textures with a result you see at once rather than after a month. The in-house developments are the Skin Liposomal NAD+ complex and a dual-layer thermal dispersion. In its first year the brand went from a Korean launch to buyers in Asia, North America and Europe.

Lullua — colour cosmetics, export to Japan

The identity was built around a single lacquer red and a crescent-moon 'L': cushion, tint and sun care in glossy monochrome packaging read on the shelf as one object. The studio ran the brand end to end, including container selection, a localized website, product pages in Japanese and English, the Instagram feed and shipping to Japan.

LIKE CELL — bio-cosmetics

The brand rests on the idea of being friendly to skin cells: every skin has a beauty of its own. The look chosen is laboratory rather than spa — frosted glass, hairline type, a clinical white and silver. The studio handled brand planning, the logo, product planning, container selection and design.

Cell Philia — skincare for brightening and wrinkles

The line was assembled from naming and logo through to final packaging. Deep navy with rose gold and a floral cell emblem: a gift-worthy look that reads as dermatology, but with warmth.

LOVE DES FACE — masks and eye patches, export to Hong Kong

The line was run from product planning through to shipment. Bold two-tone boxes, red for the daily mask and caramel for the patches, and a heart set into the word LOVE: the packaging is designed to stand out on a Hong Kong shelf.

Oleaceae — fragrance and scented personal care

The brand was named after the olive family and built around scent: a botanical serif wordmark with a leaf, warm stone tones and a slim stick so the scent travels with you. The work covered branding, product planning, container selection and design.

LIV — freeze-dried formulas

'Life is Valuable': freeze-drying keeps actives potent without unnecessary preservatives. A handwritten script on kraft paper and leaf green — packaging that is honest, minimal and nature-first. The studio ran the brand from the logo through to product pages, the Instagram feed and marketing.

LAPIN Arc en ciel — hair and scalp care

'Adventures in beauty wonderland': the brand is built as a storybook about a white rabbit. Amber apothecary bottles, illustrated labels and the rainbow, arc en ciel, as a promise of luck. The studio handled everything down to localized product pages and marketing.

CHAYEON — green tea toner pads

'A bond with tea': the brand was made together with Boseong county and its tea fields. A hand-drawn logotype and a single green leaf on clean white — the brand is the tea field itself, with nothing added on top.

DEWBON — skin and body care, export to Cambodia

'The beginning of beauty': the idea of dew as the cleanest starting point. Dew-soft pink with cream and gold accents and a wide serif wordmark: feminine, natural and quietly premium. The studio ran the brand end to end, including the website and shipping to Cambodia.

PURE.B — baby and kid skincare

'Pure Baby': the brand was started by a father of two daughters with sensitive skin, and the requirement was simple — products he could use on his own children. A rounded mint logotype, pastel colour-coding by product and a sun character on the kids' sunscreen.

O'HER — vitamin C

'Waterless · Spotless · Airless': a waterless formula, work on pigmentation and airless packaging. Cream and terracotta, amber glass and a confident all-caps wordmark. The brand was built out entirely through digital channels, from product pages to ad content.
